outfit archive is my approach to a publication that can be easily iterated on based on a sole template or system. born out of my college self’s compulsive need to document my outfit every day, outfit archive is a fun and creative way to put this documentation to use. originally intended to be a one-off issue, I expanded this project to five full books for my senior show at SAIC.

each book explores my thoughts on texture, fashion, fit, and the sentimentality that an outfit gives the wearer and those around them.

volume 01

volume one showcases the fall semester of my junior year. I had just moved to a new apartment with a new roommate, and I was trying to welcome these changes.

volume 02

volume two encompasses the spring and summer of 2023. I spent the time in between chicago and california, and my outfits throughout reflect that.

volume 03

I actually started with volume three and changed the title posthumously. this was the original edition of the series and I hold it near and dear to my heart. this issue covers the fall of 2023, a year after volume one.

volume 04

the fourth volume details the cold, winter months of my senior year of college. this is where you start to see me find more of my style and voice as my frontal lobe gets closer and closer to being fully developed.

volume 05

the last volume was quite sentimental for me. it was my final project for my final class at SAIC. I never thought I would be able to experience a place where I was able to (and encouraged to) be 100% myself. I will remember art school fondly forever.
